I always suggest for couples to book at least one honeymoon excursion. It’s an experience you’ll share together and bond. Yes, when you’re lying on a beach or relaxing by the pool you are physically there together but, when you’re swimming with the dolphins or floating along the river on a bamboo raft you’re actually DOING something together. It’s in these moments that you’ll make memories that will last a lifetime. Chances are in 10 years you won’t remember those fabulous meals, drinks or pools but you’ll remember those unique experiences you shared together.

– Book before you arrive. – Some tours are only offered once a week, and often the most popular ones book quick! By booking these early you’ll get the very best availability and it’s one less thing to do once you get there!
– Book with someone reputable. – I can’t stress this one enough! There’s nothing more frustrating than paying for a tour in advance, then waiting hours in the resort lobby for a driver that never shows up. Then when you try to contact the company, there’s no response. This happens often, so choose your tour company wisely!! Destination Wedding Experts only recommends the best.
– Private tours. – Don’t want to follow a herd then consider hiring a private driver. This will allow you more flexibility when touring… you may want to spend more or less time than the group. Or maybe you want to see/do things that aren’t offered as tours or you prefer making multiple stops in one day, a private driver will be a better choice.
