Calling All Maids of Honor and Best Men!
If you’re getting ready to plan a bachelorette party or bachelor bash, why not think outside the box and do something amazing, fun and less expensive?
Everyone goes to Las Vegas or another U.S. city. The initial cost of $700 or $800 per person for hotel and air is only the beginning. Think of $10 to $15 for a drink, at least $100 for a show and a $50 cover charge at a club. And the days of cheap food in Las Vegas have long disappeared. Adding this all up will give many of your guests an unpleasant surprise when they review their credit statements at the end of the trip.
Consider a Beach Destination
I have a much better plan for you which will allow you to appear as a hero to the group. Why not hop on a plane and go to an all-inclusive resort where all the meals, drinks, activities, water sports and night life are included? You pay one price up-front and don’t need to worry about any additional charges. You do not even have to leave the resort to have a fabulous time and everyone will be together at the resort even if their activity choices are sometimes different.
These resorts are in beautiful locations in the Caribbean and Mexico with wonderful tropical weather, gorgeous beaches and clear, turquoise water. A typical day would be to sleep late, enjoy a fabulous late breakfast, and go the beach for snorkeling or the pool for a swim. Sit at the swim-up bar and enjoy as many drinks as you like, play in a game of beach volleyball or take a nap in the sun. And remember food is always available and unlimited.
The nighttime is when things really start to come alive. Go to one of the crazy foam parties. and then go to one of the resort’s restaurants and have a lovely late dinner. Many resorts have clubs where the party goes on late into the night, with unlimited drinks and no cover charges. Get up the next morning and do it all over again!
There are some resorts that specialize in bachelorette and bachelor parties. Contact a travel agent to help you find the resort that is perfect for your group.
Before You Plan a Bachelorette Party, Think About This!
You may spend $1,100 or a little more including flights but that is the total cost. Book seven months in advance with each person putting down a $200 deposit. Divide the balance over the next few months and everything will be fully paid before the trip.
When you plan a bachelorette party and a fun, beach resort, everyone will love your fabulous idea and you will look like a rock star.
